Terms & conditions
Members will receive up to $500 when they transfer their Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) or Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to Qtrade Advisor or Qtrade Asset Management at Northern Savings Financial Services Ltd. (NSFS).
- The following conditions need to be met in order for the member to receive the cash back offer:
- This offer is only available to members of Northern Savings Credit Union.
- Transfers need to be a minimum of $10,000 (Canadian dollars).
- Transfers must be initiated through NSFS by March 1, 2024.
- Members will receive a 1% cash bonus on the funds transferred to Qtrade Advisor or Qtrade Asset Management via NSFS, up to $500.
- Multiple transfers in by the same member do not qualify for more than one cash back offer (i.e., the maximum amount per member is $500).
- Funds must be invested with Qtrade Advisor or Qtrade Asset Management.
- Transfers must come from other financial institutions and transfers from Northern Savings Credit Union are not eligible.
- The member will be responsible to pay any transfer or early redemption fees the transferring financial institution may charge for the transfer.
- Funds must remain in the account for a minimum of 12 months (an early cash-out will result in members being required to repay the bonus amount and corresponding interest earnings to NSFS).
- The cash bonus will be deposited into the client's credit union account.
- No portion of the cash bonus may be used to subscribe for Class A shares (i.e., membership shares) in Northern Savings Credit Union.
- Cash bonuses will be paid by NSFS no later than April 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PST.
