Their expertise and alignment with Northern Savings' values make them an ideal partner as we enhance our lending experience.

Transition from CPL (Securian Canada)

Over the past several years, Northern Savings has offered creditor protection to our members through Securian Canada’s CPL product. Following a planned three‑month transition period, CUMIS will begin working closely with Northern Savings and Securian Canada to transfer the existing CPL policies. This transition has been carefully designed to minimize member impact. Members whose policies are affected by this transition will receive written communication later this year, outlining the changes and confirming coverages that remain in force.

Launching March 9: A Better Lending Experience

We’re excited to share that on March 9, we will be introducing a more modern and streamlined lending experience in our branches through the launch of our new ASAPP Loan Origination System. Members can expect:

• Faster application processing
• Smoother more consistent workflows
• An overall improvement in how lending services are delivered

This enhancement builds on the success of our ASAPP Account Opening System launched last fall, creating a unified digital experience. This means greater efficiency, less duplication, and a more seamless experience for you across all your financial needs.

Our lending teams are currently training and preparing for this transition. We appreciate your patience as we become fully comfortable with the new system.

Launching March 30: Online Loan Applications

Our online loan portal will be updated on March 30. Once complete, members will be able to access our new ASAPP Online Loans Portal. This upgraded self-serve digital application will offer enhanced functionality and improved online experience.
