The YES Camp

YES Camp
Northern Savings is proud to support The Youth Excellence Society (YES). For over 45 years, YES has provided a unique learning experience to more than 10,000 young people from across BC. This charitable, non-partisan organization provides exceptional leadership training to BC's youth through the support of the province's co-operative and credit union moment.
Open to youth ages 14 to 18
Northern Savings pays for camp fees and partial travel for up to two campers annually*
Located at Cowichan Lake Outdoor Education and Conference Centre
Focuses on values of self-awareness, communication, leadership and cooperation

info@northsave.com; alternatively you can contact your branch.
*Northern Savings will cover one week of camp fees as well as travel costs including: flights, gas, or ferry fees for the camper to get to and from the camp (up to a maximum of $1,000). If two campers are selected for the year, then travel refund is a maximum of $500 each. Receipts must be provided to Northern Savings and travel booking must be made by the camper/guardian. Hotels, food, and miscellaneous items are not covered by Northern Savings. Preference will be given to Northern Savings members.
WOW Kid
CFTK-TV, Northern Savings Credit Union and Bulkley Valley Credit Union are rewarding deserving youth in our communities! Each month, one deserving youth will be awarded $250 from Northern Savings Credit Union or Bulkley Valley Credit Union.
Do you know a deserving youth in your community that goes above and beyond in their lives?
Do they excel, lead, give back? Do they WOW? Nominate a youth between the ages of 8 and 18 to be the next WOW Kid.
Rules
Nominees must:
- Live in the North Coast or Bulkley Valley regions
- Be 8 to 18 years of age
- Submit a completed nomination form
- Have a parent/guardian sign a consent form and agree to the rules and regulations of this contest
Nominations
WOW kids are the ones that go above and beyond in their lives and fit into one or more of these categories:
- Proven excellence in academics, athletics, music and/or the arts
- Dedicated service and leadership in the school, community, or their peer group
- Overcome adversity
