Candidate Video

I believe that community makes a place home, I have actively worked to become connected with the community by volunteering and board membership. Joining Northern Savings’ Board would be a continuation of that, the mission of NSCU aligns closely with those values.

While teaching at Coast Mountain College, I focus on personal skills and experiences, using them to impart new skills and knowledge to our youth and newcomers to Canada. I am a strong believer in the importance of education and in the need for life-long learning. I hope to bring my experiences and help shape the future of NSCU.

Jennifer Rice

Candidate Video

I am a dedicated community builder with over a decade of leadership serving the North Coast. As a former three-term MLA and Parliamentary Secretary, I navigated complex legislative environments and served as Deputy Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee.

My experience spans municipal governance as a City Councillor to securing millions of infrastructure funding for our region. I combine a 'community-first' heart with the strategic mindset of a business professional. I am committed to ensuring Northern Savings remains a robust, transparent, and member-focused institution that drives sustainable prosperity for all our neighbours.
