Direct Deposit & Pre Authorized Payments

Relax knowing your monthly bills are paid and your cheques are automatically deposited into your Northern Savings account.

You can receive your federal government payments such as: income tax refunds, GST/HST credits, Canada Child Tax Benefit, Canada Pension Plan, and Old Age Security etc. directly into your Northern Savings bank account by setting up direct deposit. Additionally, many employers offer direct deposit.

Never miss a payment

Many service providers offer pre-authorized payments (debits) - which allows the company to automatically debit your bank account for the amount owed to that provider. Inquire with your service provider about setting up pre-authorized payments.

Forget cheques

Pre-authorized credits, otherwise known as direct deposit's, offer a fast and convenient way to receive your money. Your money is available to you immediately, as it is deposited electronically without you having to do anything.
