New Hours for Counter Services. The Same Hours for Appointments.

We are committed to providing Haida Gwaii residents with efficient and professional financial services. In order to provide the service levels that you are accustomed to, we are adjusting our hours of operation for counter (day-to-day) transactions beginning Monday, October 30, 2017.

The highest volume of counter traffic in our Queen Charlotte branch occurs Monday to Friday, between 12:00pm and 4:00pm; accordingly, these will be the revised hours for counter service, which includes transactions such as: cashing cheques, withdrawing cash, and making deposits.

Our Queen Charlotte Financial Service Representatives and Personal Lenders remain available throughout the day from 9:00am to 5:00pm by appointment, in person, or over the phone. Our availability for these services has not changed.

Our ATM will continue to be available, as well as telephone, mobile and online banking - where members can deposit cheques, pay bills, transfer funds, and send Interac e-Transfers. Additionally, our outside business depository drop box can be accessed by business members 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

In order to provide additional access to online services, we will be providing iPads to the Queen Charlotte and Skidegate communities. Members can access online banking transactions including using our Deposit Anywhere feature – where you can simply take a photo of the cheque you wish to deposit.
